Maryland
We went through Maryland? Oh yeah, it only took a day and a half. Some people try to do the "Maryland Challenge". That's when you go through the whole state in a day. (40 miles) We're set for a 30 mile slackpack and we start early (10 am is real early for us!) Toward the end of the day we see a side trail to a view. We were pretty tired and none of us wanted to walk .4 miles out of our way. All of a sudden, Huma says "I hear people having sex!" I thought he was nuts, but he started to go down the side trail. Icky and I followed him and just when we got to the view, we saw this really skinny guy plowing some chubby chick from behind! They look up and see us, and then they take off running! We laughed our asses off for about a half hour! Finally, we got back to Harpers ferry, jumped in my truck, and feasted at taco bell! The next day, we begin our Pennsylvania slackpack nightmare.
